This winter, the Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association (SkiPA) is making it easy for families interested in taking up skiing or snowboarding to get off the couch, get fit and enjoy the great outdoors with its affordable “First-Time Ski/Snowboard” program. With the holidays looming ahead and with it those excessive calorie-laden meals, now is the perfect time for families to sign up and commit to an active winter of fun on the Pennsylvania slopes.

The First-Time Ski/Snowboard program takes the hassle out of planning and makes it easy for beginners to hit the slopes for the first time. Available for $59, ski and snowboard newbies receive a beginner lift ticket, group lesson and complete rental equipment.  Quantities are limited, so it’s recommended to sign up early.  All orders must be received online by Dec. 30, 2018.  Purchase is limited to five vouchers per household. Vouchers can be used anytime, including weekends and holidays, except for Hidden Valley, Laurel Mountain and Seven Springs. To sign up, visit, http://www.skipa.com/deals/first-time-offer.
