This week's park review is Kinderland II.

157 Lucas Avenue Extension, Kingston, NY 12401

I took my 2 daughters to the brand new Kinderland II playground this week.  As soon as we got there my 3 year old was shrieking with delight of the "tree house" on the playground.  (She is a huge Magic Tree House fan).

There is so much to choose from at this new playground.  On the "big kid" side, there is a tunnel twirl slide, and three combined slides (one step the other 2 are bumpy).  There is a rock wall, jumping/stepping stools, climbing rope stools, tunnels, steps, houses/walls, balance beam, a ship, monkey bars/rings, swings, alligator musical xylophone type thing... and I am sure I am forgetting something!

There are picnic areas available, as well as benches within the playground, on both sections.
In the little kid section, there is a sandbox, bucket swings, a high backed swing, slides, steps, monkey bars, bridges and a little hide out house!

The park is completely fenced in, besides the one open entry way.  There is also a portapotty nearby, towards Forsyth Nature Center.  There may be more closer to the playground, but I did not notice.  Please let me know if there is an I will update this!

Big "thank you" to the Junior League of Kingston for making this playground possible!

While you are at the playground, be sure to check out Forsyth Nature Center.  Your little ones are sure to love seeing and feeding the animals!
