Forsyth Nature

We checked out Forsyth Nature Center one day while in Kingston.  It's free and open to the public (see site for hours).  There is a porta-potty, hand sanitizer stations, picnic areas, and a playground nearby.

On our own, we were able to see a bunch of the animals, including peacocks, goats, turtles and sulcata tortoises, and more!

The peacocks were very cooperative for us, they kept showing us their gorgeous feathers!

There are some quarter machines to buy animal food, but there are also signs on the cages other types of food they enjoy (popcorn and carrots are two foods I remember reading)

Be sure to check out Kinderland II while you are here!
