I fell in love with the Meliá brand of hotels in the summer of 2021, so I was very excited to check them out this fall at one of their United States resorts. Meliá Orlando Celebration is the perfect "home base" for your next Orlando vacation for each member of your family: the night owl, the shopper, the thrill seeker, the relaxer/waterbug, the fitness fanatic, and the furbaby.

The Night Owl
Have a night owl in the family? Meliá Orlando Celebration's circular outdoor pool, located in the center of the resort, is open late until 11pm. Take advantage of the pool access for a late night swim, watch a movie on the large outdoor screen, and enjoy live music and other entertainment while staying at Meliá Orlando Celebration. We had so much fun at the 80's dance party on Saturday Night!

The Shopper
Have a shopaholic in the family? Meliá Orlando Celebration is the perfect home base for your vacation. While the rest of the family is relaxing by the pool, the shopping queen (or king) can head out to the nearby shopping centers, just minutes away. Between Disney Springs, ICON Park, Celebration Town Center, Outlets, Malls, and souvenir shops, your shopper will be in their buying glory! Or maybe you just left behind an important item or realize you want an added accessory for the theme night party, Meliá Orlando Celebration has an Amazon Hub locker on site!

The Thrill Seeker
The thrill seeker in your family will love staying at Meliá Orlando Celebration because of its location. Disney, Universal Studios, and Sea World are less than 20 minutes away. Easily arrange a ride on the free shuttle, book an Uber, or drive yourself with a rental to get your family to and from an adventurous day at your favorite theme park. I spent 2 days at Universal and am already itching to go back! On my last night at the hotel, I took a spin on the Meliá Orlando Prize wheel and won a free ticket to Universal Studios... So, I guess I'll be back soon!

The Relaxer/Waterbug
Have that family member who does not want an itinerary or schedule of events and they just want a relaxing day by the pool? Or the kid who wants to swim and play all day? Come hang by the 360 pool. On weekends there is entertainment, the prize wheel, a bouncy slide, and special visits from themed characters (we met Captain America). All week you can enjoy swimming in the pool, table tennis, Connect Four, lounging with your cocktail, reading poolside by the palm trees or on your balcony, and so much more — at your leisure.

The Fitness Fanatic
Don't be hesitant to come if you fear missing your gym days. There are both Peloton and Mirror Suites, beach volleyball, water polo, pool basketball, and free access to the adjacent AdventHealth Celebration Wellness Center (with a free shuttle to get there). You can rent the Peloton or Mirror Suite as your private room for your stay, or when available, reserve an hour time frame to get your workout in.

The Furbaby
Kids and grownups aren't the only ones who can have fun here! Meliá Orlando Celebration is a dog-friendly hotel with a dog park to accommodate pet owners while on vacation. There is even a doggy menu to order from and spoil your favorite pup!

Although I went on this trip alone, the whole time I was noticing what my husband and three kids would love most about it. It's hard to pick what their favorite parts of staying at Meliá Orlando Celebration would be, as there is something special for every mindset. I love that the rooms can accommodate solo guests, couples, small families, and large families.
I can't wait to bring my family back to Meliá Orlando Celebration for our next Orlando vacation, hopefully sooner than later!
