Ice skating at Kiwanis Ice Arena in Saugerties!
I wanted to share this awesome, local, & low cost activity idea with you! Ice Skating!
It took me a long time to get to the ice rink... I kept thinking "my girls are too young" and I didn't want them to get frustrated and hate it. But I wish I decided to try it out sooner! They loved it, and it is such a great way to spend an afternoon with the family.

Ice skating is a pretty affordable activity. Adults are only $8, students are only $6 and kids 5 and under are free! If you had bought a local business discount card (a few local schools sell them around March), you will find a buy one get one free admission on it, making the day even more affordable! Skate rentals are only $3 and there are also these nifty "ice walkers" available to rent! Make sure you get there early, as they have limited skate aids and you want to make sure to rent the correct size skate before they run out.

They are open throughout the week, so check out the times and days here, and hopefully we will see you out on the ice! Make sure you come say "Hi!"
Now I have a 2, 5 and 7 year old and they still love coming to the ice rink! Oh My~ now they are 5, 8 and 10! We will finally get back to ice skating this weekend!
