I contacted Tricia Pipitone, it was perfect, she is super local to me, and has her whole LuLaRoe Shop set up in her basement! Although I was really tempted to try on some new things for myself, maxis, Randys, and some other shirts.... I really REALLY wanted to check out her kids inventory.
I ended up picking out a Mae for my 4 year old and an Adeline for my 2 year old, and a pair of leggings for each. Let me tell you, it took me a long time to decide! The patterns and shirt designs with the leggings were just so cute! Then trying to decide if I wanted matching dresses.... or a skirt and shirt... or matching leggings.... And then deciding on sizes!
The dresses were easy to size, I picked a size 2 for my small/average 2 year old and a size 6 for my super tall 4 year old. They both fit perfectly.
Kids Leggings: The leggings come in two sizes (for kids, then there are tween and adult sizes). I picked the smaller size for my 2 year old, they are long on her, but easily fold over and she can wear them just fine. I ended up going the next size up for my 4 year old. They fit about the same for her, but she loves them and we just fold the bottoms up a little and you can't even tell! She is so excited to wear the same pants as her teacher! She also gets to borrow her sisters leggings, because she can fit in them as well! She is just about the end of the line for them, but for now she likes to wear them too. The leggings are just as buttery soft as the adult ones you are probably wearing right now, and they come in solids and prints! I picked gray and black!
Mae: I picked the Mae dress for my 4 year old. At first I was going to get her a cute shirt with fun leggings, but decided I would avoid any dress disappointment, and went with a Mae. What was the first thing she said when she tried it on?
"ooooh pockets", which was exactly what I predicted she would say, and part of why I chose the Mae for her! She loves the dress and loves the black leggings with it! When I ask her what her favorite part of the dress is, "that I can twirl and it has pockets!"
Adeline: I picked the Adeline dress for my 2 year old. It reminds me of my Nicole dress, and had so many cute patterns to choose from! I ended up choosing the pink star one and I love it as much as I did when I picked it out. Most of her clothes come from big sis, so she knows when something is just hers, and she gets really excited about it! She put the dress on, and immediately touches her belly and says "mine!" and then continues to spin around like big sis! I ask her what her favorite part is, and she points to it and says "heart" so we will go ahead and say she loves the stars... and we just need to work on shapes a little more!
We've gotten so many compliments on their dresses both times they've worn them out so far. Even my husband gives multiple compliments on them!
