festival weekends!
We had a great time last year, so when we were able to head back again this year, I was pretty excited!
There are a lot of great activities at the farm, and what makes Kesicke stand out from a few other nearby farms, is the free admission!
When you arrive at the farm you can head right into the market to purchase some yummy food (like their home made cider donuts!) and purchase tickets for the fun!
- Corn Maze - $8.00
- Wagon Rides - $4.00
- Hay Wagon Rides - $4.00
- Package Price for all 3 is $12.00 (Save $4.00)
- All Day Fun Pass is $15.00 per person
- Moonlight Maze
- Pumpkin Picking
- Fall Decorations
- Live Animals to pet and feed
My family each got the 3 pack package! The hay ride was taking off as we got there, so we headed to the bounce houses to wait for the next trip. You can also stop at the corn box (think sandbox - sand + corn). I decided to skip that this year on account of the baby who wants to put everything in her mouth! Neither of these require tickets.
Now you see, the thing about bounce houses is that kids don't want to get off of them! So while #1 bounced around with some new friends, I headed over with #2 to check out the animals! Here you can purchase a cup of food and feed your choice of favorite farm animals!
While waiting for our turn on the hay ride, we let the girls ride some mini tractors and play in the little play area.
The hayride is a fun trip getting pulled by a big tractor over to the far side of the farm, where you can feed some big black Angus cows. Remember that if you go! There might be a pop quiz! ;)
With our three ticket package, we also got to explore the corn maze and take a wagon ride! Now the corn maze, is indeed a maze. We got very lost last year, and I was very pregnant, so we ended up cheating to get out. This year, we went in with a lot of confidence! We were going to make it! We were in for a good amount of time, but had to make an escape to get to the potty in time... so once again we are not able to claim any fame of completion!
The wagon ride is a favorite for my oldest. She loves getting to pick her favorite color wagon and go for a ride through the corn! Keep your eyes open for some Halloween spooks hiding in the corn (nothing scary, just some scarecrow decorations!) I went on the wagon ride to hold the baby, but it is definitely something an older kid can ride on alone or with a sibling/friend!
While you are there, don't forget to head to their pumpkin patch and pick out the perfect pumpkin! And of course, get your photo with the giant haystack teddy bear! You can't miss that guy!
Once again Kesicke Farm did not disappoint! We had a blast! Just look at this smile!
Check out their schedule for planning your visit!
