I can't describe how excited I was when I found out Laurie Berkner was coming, with her band, to nearby Schenectady! We are huge fans of hers! We watch her youtube channel whenever we need some good music to dance to!
Then, when my family was invited to the show AND I was given a family pack of tickets to giveaway to you guys, I was thrilled!

As you can imagine, we had a blast at the show! We arrived about 20 minutes early to the show. We were able to get our will call tickets, use the restrooms, find our seats, and relax pretty quickly. Before the show we got a sneak peak of Laurie's upcoming album (b1g1 free through Oct 11)
When the show started my 3yo was bopping her head sitting in her seat, by song number 2 she was out in the aisle and did not (no exaggeration) stop dancing until I had to convince her to leave after the last song.
We heard fan favorite after fan favorite... I tell you every new song that played she turned back to me with a huge smile on her face and would start singing. And she was not the only one. The aisles had children with huge smiles and some pretty entertaining dance moves.
The show ended with some audience participation beach ball fun! Giant beach balls getting tossed all around! Even up on the balcony seats! We had such a great time!
When the band left the stage, the audience demanded an encore, and they did not disappoint! Coming back for a montage of more favorite songs that we did not hear during the show!
After the show we were invited to the meet and greet! Not sure who was more excited... me or my 3yo! My husband almost had me walking out without a picture... but then I got some sense and turned around and made him take one with me! Laurie, Susie, Bobby and Brady are all so friendly and spent time with each family during the after show meet and greet!
Follow them on Facebook and subscribe to Laurie's youtube channel!
My family was given tickets to this show in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own!
